1. About these Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Crystal Sport website, mobile site, and related services (the "Platform"), operated by Crystal Sport Ltd ("Crystal Sport", "we", "us"). By registering an account, placing a bet, or otherwise using the Platform, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Responsible Gambling Policy, which together form a binding agreement between you and Crystal Sport.

If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.

We may amend these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be notified to you by email and/or on-site notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

To open an account and bet, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years of age. Betting by anyone under 18 is strictly prohibited and is a criminal offence.
  • Be a legal resident of Nigeria (subject to any state-level restrictions that apply).
  • Not be located in, or accessing the Platform from, a jurisdiction where online betting is unlawful.
  • Have full legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
  • Not be a person barred from gambling by law, court order, or self-exclusion.
  • Not be an employee, officer, or direct relative of an employee of Crystal Sport or its key partners, where prohibited by our internal policy.

We may require proof of age and identity at any time and may suspend or close accounts that do not meet eligibility requirements.

3. Account registration and verification (KYC)

You must register only one account, in your own true and current details. You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide.

Before you may deposit, bet, or withdraw beyond applicable limits, you must complete identity verification ("KYC"). We use a licensed third-party verification provider and may require your Bank Verification Number (BVN), National Identification Number (NIN), a government-issued ID, a live selfie, and/or proof of address. We verify your identity and age against official records. You consent to these checks as a condition of using the Platform.

We operate a tiered verification model. Higher tiers unlock higher deposit, staking, and withdrawal limits. We may restrict account functions until the required tier is completed.

We may refuse registration, suspend, or close an account where verification cannot be completed, where information is false, or where required by law or our AML obligations.

4. Your account: security and responsibilities

  • Keep your login credentials confidential. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
  • Notify us immediately via our Contact page if you suspect unauthorised access.
  • One person, one account. Duplicate accounts may be closed and balances subject to review.
  • You may not transfer, sell, or share your account.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from your failure to secure your account, save where caused by our own proven fault.

5. Deposits and withdrawals

  • Deposits are processed through our licensed payment partner(s). Funds must come from a payment source held in your own name.
  • Minimum and maximum deposit and withdrawal amounts, and any processing times or fees, are published on the Platform and may change.
  • Withdrawals are paid to a verified bank account or payment method in your name. We may require additional verification before processing a withdrawal, consistent with our AML and KYC obligations.
  • We do not offer credit. You may only bet with funds in your account balance.
  • Customer funds are handled in line with our regulatory and payment-partner obligations.
  • We may withhold or reverse a withdrawal where we reasonably suspect fraud, error, collusion, money laundering, breach of these Terms, or where required by law or regulator.

6. Placing bets

  • A bet is accepted only when confirmed by our system and shown in your bet history. Until then, no contract to bet exists.
  • The odds displayed at the time your bet is accepted apply, subject to the rules below.
  • You are responsible for checking your betting slip before confirming. Once accepted, a bet generally cannot be cancelled or amended except as stated in these Terms or the specific market rules.
  • We may set and vary limits on stakes, winnings, and liabilities per bet, per market, per event, and per account.
  • Bets are governed by the market-specific rules published on the Platform. Where these Terms and a specific market rule conflict, the market rule prevails for that market.

7. Errors, obvious mistakes, and void bets

We take care to display correct information, but errors can occur. We may void a bet or correct settlement where:

  • An obvious or palpable error occurred in the odds, handicap, line, or terms offered (for example, odds materially out of line with the true market, or a price resulting from a technical or human error);
  • A bet was placed or accepted after an event started (unless it is a valid in-play market), or after the outcome was known or reasonably foreseeable;
  • The event or market did not take place, was abandoned, or the result cannot be reliably determined;
  • A market was offered in error, including on an outcome that cannot occur;
  • Technical malfunction, data-feed error, or manipulation affected the bet.

Where a bet is voided, the stake is returned. We will not be liable for winnings paid on a bet that is subsequently and validly voided, and we may recover such amounts.

8. Settlement and results

  • Bets are settled according to the official result and the applicable market rules, using the result sources stated in those rules.
  • Settlement is generally made after the official result is confirmed. We may delay settlement pending confirmation or investigation.
  • If a bet is settled in error, we may re-settle it correctly, debiting or crediting your account accordingly.
  • Where an event is postponed or abandoned, the relevant market rules determine whether bets stand, are voided, or are carried over.

9. Prohibited conduct

You must not:

  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose, fraud, money laundering, or the financing of crime;
  • Collude, use bots, exploit errors, arbitrage against our own errors, or manipulate events or markets;
  • Bet on events in which you can influence the outcome, or misuse inside information;
  • Open multiple or linked accounts to gain an advantage or exceed limits;
  • Use another person's payment method or identity.

Breach may result in bet voiding, forfeiture of winnings obtained through the breach, account closure, and referral to authorities.

10. Bonuses and promotions

Any bonus, free bet, or promotion is subject to its own specific terms published with the offer, in addition to these Terms. We may withdraw or vary promotions, and may void bonuses and related winnings obtained through abuse, error, or breach of the promotion terms.

11. Responsible gambling and self-exclusion

We are committed to responsible gambling. You can set deposit, stake, and loss limits, take a time-out, or self-exclude under Account → Responsible Gambling. During a self-exclusion or time-out, we will take reasonable steps to prevent you opening new accounts or receiving marketing. See our Responsible Gambling Policy for details and support resources.

12. Anti-money laundering

Crystal Sport complies with applicable AML and counter-terrorist-financing laws and our regulator's requirements, including applicable SCUML/NFIU reporting obligations. We monitor activity and may request source-of-funds information, delay or refuse transactions, and report suspicious activity to the relevant authorities. We may not be able to tell you when a report has been made.

13. Closing your account

You may close your account at any time via your account settings or by contacting support. We may close or suspend an account, with notice where practicable, for breach of these Terms, regulatory reasons, or where continued operation is not viable. On closure, verified balances (less any amounts properly withheld) will be returned to a verified payment method in your name.

14. Dormant accounts

We may treat an account as dormant after a prolonged period of inactivity, and will contact you before taking any action. Any handling of a dormant balance will follow our regulator's requirements.

15. Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

  • The Platform is provided "as is". We do not warrant it will be uninterrupted or error-free.
  • We are not liable for losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including data-feed failures, network outages, or force majeure.
  • Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded (including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud).
  • Subject to the above, our total liability to you in connection with the Platform is limited to the amount in your account balance at the relevant time.

16. Intellectual property

All content, trademarks, and software on the Platform belong to Crystal Sport or its licensors. You may use the Platform only for personal, lawful betting. You may not copy, scrape, or reverse-engineer any part of it.

17. Complaints and disputes

If you have a complaint, email support@crystalsport.ng with "Complaint" in the subject line, or use our Contact page. We will acknowledge your complaint within 24 hours and aim to resolve it within 72 hours. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate to our licensing regulator, the Ekiti State Gaming Regulatory Authority. Our records (including bet logs and settlement data) will generally be the authoritative record in any dispute, absent clear evidence of error.

18. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and the Nigerian courts have jurisdiction, subject to any mandatory regulatory dispute process.
